I'm a narrative strategist, brand builder, and community organizer working at the intersection of culture, systems, and storytelling.

Over the last decade, I've worked across politics, policy, nonprofits, and community organizing — helping launch public programs, build movements, strengthen organizations, and shape stories and events that connect people to a larger purpose.

I hold a Master's in Public Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill, a B.A. in Psychology from NC State, and a Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Harvard University. That foundation — spanning public systems, human behavior, and entrepreneurial thinking — shapes how I approach every project: with rigor, empathy, and a clear eye on what actually works.

At Sapelo Square, I built a full brand and content framework rooted in Black Muslim lived experience, translating long-form scholarship into accessible storytelling that reaches people at scale. At Emancipate NC, I helped secure over $1M in city funding to launch Raleigh's first alternative mental health crisis response program. As Founder of the Inter-Generational Eid Fashion Show, I created a public-facing cultural space that engaged 200+ Muslim women through narrative, joy, and sisterhood.

I've served as Political Director for a successful Raleigh City Council campaign, Field Organizer contributing to breaking a state supermajority, Executive Board Member at the Islamic Association of Raleigh, and Mayoral Candidate — one of the youngest women of color in the South to run for mayor.

At the center of all of it is a belief that narrative work marginalized communities is not neutral. It's an amanah — a trust. It requires care, discernment, and deep community connection. I don't just tell stories. I build the structures that allow them to live, scale, and stay true.
